My last post was in May around finals. I did not fully understand what the next six months would have in store for me. Here is a general breakdown:
18 credit hours during the regular summer session (6 classes) + 3 credit hour August intercession (1 class) = 21 credit hours (7 classes) from Spring to Fall semester
Spirit breaking pain in my skull for weeks culminating in severe localized pain in my jaw. Result: cracked a secondary root in a tooth that lived in a spot that hides in a regular x-ray.
LSAT (the test to get into law school) a week after my emergency root canal from the previous event.
Fall semester with a few surprises. The most shocking was an advisor gave wrong information causing me to have to adjust my schedule a week into classes. I am a creature of habit. It took a while to recover.
4 out of 5 classes requiring large group projects...OMG
Law school applications submitted to my two picks.
Friends moved back from up north. Basically, their living arrangement did not work out so we invited them to stay with us while she waits for her husband to sell their house and come down.
Are you tired yet? I am.
It has been a crazy six months. Honestly, I would not change it. They have been incredibly stressful and fulfilling. I have cried. I have laughed. I have been completely wiped out and full of energy. I love life with all of its complexities.
fin.
